Goods Lifts

A wide range of Goods Lifts

Goods Lifts are used for various functions, for example, a pub may require a heavy duty Goods Lift for transferring barrels down into the cellar. Other Goods Lifts may need to carry passengers as well as goods. An example of this is where a department store worker has to travel in the lift with stock to unload it over several floors. Either way, the load capacity would be different for each lift.

Hydraulic Goods Lift or Traction Goods Lifts
A department store would need some hydraulic lifts because it carries people as well as goods. Screw or chain driven Goods Lifts tend to be used where passengers are not permitted (as in the pub’s Goods Lift). These lifts are usually made from sturdy materials like epoxy painted, stainless and galvanised steel, up to and beyond industry standards.

Goods Lifts compliant with British and European Standards
You will normally be given various options on door styles, for example, concertina or lattice gates and be able to choose, with helpful advice, load capacity, speed and power. Whichever lift you choose, make sure you have one that is fully compliant with British and European Standards.
